Tour Price Includes :

AIR TRANSPORTATION - Between New York JFK and Istanbul Jet Economy, based on the lowest applicable promotional fare valid for the appropriate departure date on any major scheduled Carrier chosen by AVIV TOURS.  Domestic fares from cities other than the main gateway are not included in the Tour Price.

HOTELS - 4-Star (First Class), all in medium-rated rooms. Accommodations are in twin-bedded rooms  with private bath throughout, double occupancy. Single occupancy, subject to availability, at supplement indicated.

MEALS - Major meals (lunches, dinners) only as specifically mentioned in the Itinerary. Meals in flight as per custom of the airlines used.

TRANSFERS - Between airports and hotels as per Itinerary, including transportation of TWO pieces of luggage per person and porterage (see below).

BAGGAGE - Free allowance is two pieces per person, measuring not more than a total of 106" (length plus width plus height), where each piece may measure not more than 62" nor weigh more than 50 lbs., plus a carry-on piece measuring not more than 39".

SIGHTSEEING - By luxury, late model coach, air-conditioned when required by weather conditions, including the services of drivers and English-speaking, professional and Government-licensed guides, and including all admission fees to sites mentioned in the Itinerary.

OPTIONALS - Not included in Tour Price. When mentioned in the Itinerary, their description and extra cost are given.

TIPS AND GRATUITIES - Not included. A Tip Fund will be separately billed in final Invoice and pre-collected from all participants.

SERVICE CHARGES AND LOCAL TAXES - Included are all service charges and local taxes normally included in hotel and restaurant bills (for included meals). Fuel Surcharges, U.S. Departure Tax, Customs & Immigration Fees, port taxes and Airport Taxes are also included, however note that fuel surcharges and taxes fluctuate often and will be adjusted, if necessary, by an additional Invoice, up to the time of issue of final documents.

PLANNING AND OPERATION - Included, as a mark-up by AVIV TOURS on the component costs.

DOCUMENTS - Valid Passport (for at least 6 months beyond the return date) is required for each traveler. Visas are not required for Turkey for US citizens..

TOUR PRICE - Valid as of February 1st, 2010, subject to change without notice in air fares or land rates. Taxes and fuel surcharges are particularly subject to change.

FINAL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS - Will be sent to the Tour Hosts or participants, after final payment has been received by AVIV TOURS. Expect them no earlier than 7-10 days prior to departure. They will give final details, maps and general information.

Not Included in Tour Price :

Domestic air fare; Passport and visa fees; items of a purely personal nature such as laundry and valet charges; food and beverages not included in the table-d'hôte menus of the meals included as per Itinerary; meals and beverages not included as per Itinerary; tips and gratuities to drivers, guides, hotels' staff, porters, restaurant waiters, airport porters, etc.; personal and/or luggage insurance, strongly recommended and available at nominal cost, as well as low-cost insurance against loss of reductions in the Tour Price, in case of your inability (due to accident or sickness) to travel on the dates of the Tour and within the periods specified by airline regulations governing promotional air fares, or against cancellation fee (see below).

PAYMENTS - A deposit, as specified in the Registration Form, together with a signed Registration Form are required in order to obtain confirmed reservations on the Tour. Invoice will be issued reflecting the deposit as a partial payment received, and the balance due. Balance per Invoice must be received at AVIV TOURS Offices no later than the date indicated in the invoice (60 days before departure). Later registrations will be accepted with full payment, subject to space availability.

CANCELLATIONS - Cancellation notices will not be considered unless received at AVIV TOURS Offices in writing. No penalty or fee will be levied if written cancellation is received before the date on which final balance was due. On written cancellations received between 60 and 45 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of US $400 per person will be retained to cover out-of-pocket expenses. On cancellations received 44 or fewer days prior to departure, the fee will be US$ 400 per person, and, in the latter case, such additional amounts as may be charged by airlines, land operators, hotels, etc., will be added to the cancellation fee. Once the Tour is in progress, no refunds will be considered for less than two days' absence from the Tour, and then only if prior arrangements had been made. Refund of any portion of the Tour costs will be in any case only the net amounts recovered by AVIV TOURS for the unused services, less a fee of US$ 400. Air fare refunds are subject to airline regulations in force at the time of the Tour. In any case, all refunds will be made only after AVIV TOURS actually received the funds from airlines and operators concerned. No refunds will be due for services not received by the participant due to failure to follow instructions, or to obtain required documents such as Passport or Visa.  No compensation from AVIV TOURS will be due for expenses caused to the participant by airline delays, flight changes or mis-delivery or loss of luggage.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Tour Hosts, AVIV TOURS and the airlines used in this Tour act only in the capacity of agents for the passengers in all matters pertaining to hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, whether by air, railroad, motorcoach, motor car, steamship, boat or any other means and, as such, hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage(s) from any cause(s) whatsoever. AVIV TOURS will not be responsible for any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by late air, rail, ship or boat arrivals or departures, or by any change in schedule or other conditions; nor will they be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, baggage or any article belonging to the passenger. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person traveling under our auspices. The concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their plane or conveyance, or in the car, limousine or bus of ground transportation operators, or in the premises of hotels, pensions or other places of accommodation. The passenger contract used by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of this tour and/or the passenger.  This Web site and the final Tour Packet are issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator, AVIV TOURS, and are not issued on behalf and do not commit the Airline(s) mentioned therein or any airline whose services are used in the course of the Tour.
